Septicemia is condition where bacteria enter into the fish's body through stomach. It can breakdown internal organs' functions. It also sometimes damages body tissues and blood vessels causing internal bleeding, as a result Dropsy can take place. Dirty water can also be its reason. Its symptoms include

    Clamped fins
    Bulging eyes
    Red bellies
    Eroding, reddened fins
    Lack of appetite
    Sluggish.

To treat this problem it is best to nourish the fish with antibiotics and feed it on some good medicated food. Septicemia is serious disease and becomes incurable if not treated immediately
