    The book 'the memory keeper's daughter' is another best selling book written by author Kim Edwards. This book is quite a touching book and has given the writer several accolades along with her previous books.

    The book begins with a blizzard taking place. Norah a pregnant mother realizes its time to deliver the kids. Luckily her husband Henry is a doctor.  Thus he takes it upon him to help deliver the twins. The first son comes out healthy and fine, but when the second child, a girl is born the doctor gets a little worried. He immediately realizes that the baby is suffering from Down's syndrome. He decides to give up the baby in order to protect his wife. Telling the nurse to admit the baby to some institution and making her promise never to reveal the child's existence to her wife he leave his second born.

    But the nurse finds it impossible to leave the child alone and thus she takes it along with her and leaves town where she brings up the girl on her own.

    Critics have claimed this book to be quite a moving one and "an astonishing tale of redemptive love". If you seek this book then all the stores will definitely have a copy and so will the libraries.
