Can I Use Sulphuric Acid In A Toilet?

Answer Question

Depends, but most unclogging agents are bases, usually NaOH. Pure H2SO4 is a too strong syrupy liquid and reacts violently with just water at RT. Lye does also get hot in water but since a solid the splatter issue is less. I would not recommend sulphuric acid unless diluted to maybe 5M or so but best still with bases or mechanical uncloggers.

NO! No acid of any kind. The acid creates heat, which will cause your bowl to break. The best thing to use on a clogged toilet is a closet auger.
