Blood type comes from a combination of mother and father's blood types. That is one way to tell if the child is the child of the said parents; however DNA testing is the best way. All three of my children are O positive like myself. Their father is O negative which is a rare blood type that is called the universal donor. His blood can be given to anyone. This may be more information than you wanted. I hope that your question was answered, if so rate the question and mark question answered, if not wait for your answer.

No , he does not .

My blood group is O positive, and my fathers blood group is O negative. Its not necessary that your blood group matches with your father's.
