Is It Possible My Cat Could Be Pregnant?

My 10 year old cat got out of the house 4 1/2 weeks ago, where she was found there had been 2 male cats there about an hour before she was found. In the last week i have noticed her stomach has got quite bigger and she is drinking and eating a lot more. I tried feeling her stomach but it is kind of hard plus she was to interested in getting petted. Any advice is very much appreciated thanks.

To test pregnancy in cats is a little tougher but you can do it. You should check the nipples of your cat and feel that if they are tough or not. In pregnancy the nipples are pink and large. Secondly, just after further two weeks you will realize that the cat is gaining weight and if she eats a lot now then you have to wait for next two weeks to see the change.

Pregnancy in the cat can be diagnosed via ultrasound between day 20 and 26 of pregnancy.  This is when fetal sacs, fetal heartbeat, and often fetal movement can be detected.  Pregnancy could be confirmed via ultrasound at this point.
She is also far enough along that uterine enlargement can be palpated.  About week 4-5 is when they start gaining weight so it is possible your cat may be pregnant.
The fetal skeletons calcifies around day 45 so at this point an x-ray will confirm pregnancy and give the best way to predict the number of kittens--this is not always 100% accurate.
I would have her examined by a veterinarian to confirm pregnancy and make sure she is not gaining weight for other reasons.
