How And When To Plant Sweetcorn?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

When to plant sweet corn depends upon the kind of atmosphere prevalent in your part of the world and it can not be uniform the world over. The kind of atmosphere that is required to make the plant grow well can be covered under the heading how to grow the plant.

There are few steps that you need to take while panting sweet corn and the first step you should take is to make the temperature of the soil at 60 degree Fahrenheit as the seed can rot easily in cold or wet soil. The next most important thing is the space between the plants. Each of the rows where you are planting the corn should be three feet apart and each plant should also be separated by approximately eight to ten inches. You should also provide adequate moisture to the plants but don't water them much in the early stage.

You will find your crop ready in about fifteen to twenty days.
