Well the idea of a great vacation differs from person to person. Its all about how a person or a family derives fun. If you are visiting a tourist resort that is full of natural beauty. It must also have other elements of enjoyment like bars, disco's, cinemas, malls etc so that you not only get a taste of nature but also get the most of out of other enjoyment opportunities.

 A great vacation would be one that satisfies the quest that comes from within and turns out to be more than what was originally expected in that quest. Memories that are nothing but positive that come from events that were nothing but positive.
