Can I Replace The Handle On A Gas Water Heater Drain Valve?

The handle is broken and I can't tighten it enough to stop a drip.

It would be best to replace the vavle instead of the handle. I would consult the owners guide or the manufacturer to get the break down of parts. Then go about fixing it.
