    How Much Deposit Should I Get Back?

    When I did the final walk-thru on the house I rented for 4 1/2 yrs, the landlord said everything was fine, except for a broken window and some curtains. They quoted me that I would get back 750 of the 1000 deposit. Now 2 weeks later I am told I will get 500 they will be bringing in a professional service to come in and clean and to do the yard. Should I be charged for this service?

    It depends on the conditions of the agreement but generally you should not be charged against those services.
