When you save it to the hard drive, it makes a copy on the hard drive, (but you still have to have the disc in the tray.) To access it go to: Dashboard, game library, all games, and select your game to play from the hard drive.

Pls get the professional cable first then connect the xbox360 and hard drive. Also you should insert the disc to check wether it is in legal operation.Then you can play your games.
