This is slightly tricky because although the folks at Apple do tend to take complaints very seriously, they don't make it particularly easy for you to find out how to complain.

The best way that I've found (I've got a brand new replacement MacBook for my old IBook) is to write to them directly at their offices. For me in Europe that address is:

Apple Ltd
Holyfield Industrial Park
Cork, Republic of Ireland

If you live in the United States, try this address:

Apple Computer, 1 Infinite Loop, MS60-DR, Cupertino, California, USA, 95014

Don't try email, you may as well toss your complaint in the ocean. I emailed three separate times to a specific Apple employee, I didn't get ONE response by email.

One of the best ways to complain is to say that you have not been subject to Apple's well known and much lauded high customer satisfaction and service. Who would want to disappoint someone who is complaining and complimenting you at the same time?

Apple has the worst customer service. A small percentage of their MacBooks get "internal cracks" on the screen. This happened to my son's $1000 MacBook w/I 3 weeks. We had the $200 apple care warranty. The stores and the Apple Care (phone line) all say the same thing. "PHysical damage, you must have closed the PC with a pencil in it. I found a blog of 300 comments from people around the world with the same complaint. They close it 1 night and the next day, they open it to an internally cracked screen. Apple wants $800 to replace screen on a $999 computer.  They won't admit it could be a defective screen that if it is touched lightly this will happen.

Apple is ridiculous, I want and need to update my ipod touch but I can't do that without losing all my music and pictures. A lot of my music that is on my ipod is not on my itunes on my computer. I really don't want to lose it and I can't complain to Apple. It's un-necessary.

Want to send a message to Apple, don't buy their products. It's always been beyond me why someone would spends $2000 on $500 worth of parts. Buy a PC and don't do stupid things to get it infected.

Never again will i purchase an apple product, their customer service is non existent. When I called 1800myapple... The supervisor I spoke to acted like he was Steve Jobs or something. When I asked him for his supervisor, he told me no one worked above him. I'm sure even god answers to someone. Talk about stuck up!

Right - 'I have a situation about an app, dream league soccer. Recently I have bought 8000 coins and nothing was received but then at a later date I got an email about my receipt. Still no coins were received. If I do not get any coins I shall be writing in the papers about how appalling the advice and help apple give you! So I would like at least my 8000 coins back please or this act will have to happen!'

Dear Apple company, February 18 2010

I had purchased the new iPod nano for Christmas. Last week as I was in tech class, I had the volume on low and the earphones shocked my ears. It startled me and caused me slight pain in my left ear lobe. The earphones are now blown, and they crack every time I listen to songs. The quality of the apple earphones are not as well as I expected the quality to be, since I thought that the apple products are reliable for a long period of time.

  Sincerely: Apple user

I have given my mackbook pro 13" to the apple service centre in Mumbai known as Redington India Limited.

This Laptop was purchased 4 months ago (boxed piece)

I had to leave the country on some urgent business so I left my latop on in office for 3days with the AC on.

When I tried to turn it on the laptop was not starting.

On 10/05/2010 I reached the service centre at 5:30 but I was told "thats the closin time, so I had to comeback the next day".

The next day 11/05/2010 I reached the service centre at 10:10am and submitted the laptop. During that day I must have made over 10 calls to check what was the problem. Apparently I was told the technician was on a field trip.

The next day 12/05/2010 I called 15 - 20 times all day but again the technician was on a field trip all day long.

The next day 13/05/2010 I called over 10 times but I was told that the technician would be arriving shortly and would let me know whats the problem.

On 14/05/2010 when I called several time, finally I was told that the computer has been tampered with and a screw is damamged. [remember I had a boxed piece when I received it]  and that they have taken a snap shot and have set it to apple and are awaiting till today [20/05/2010].

So now I'm thinking; is this some kind of scam Apple is part of or is this Redington India Pvt Ltd. On its own.

Why would it take so long for them to get back is what I'm thinking.

Why did I have to make so many calls and they did not make a single call

why do they say the boxed piece is damamged unless they are trying to con people or replace the original parts with non working parts and making money

We end users buy products for the service and quality. Hate to say I don't see that anymore after this new stint pulled by apples service agency.

Well I'm just waiting for them to say that I have to pay xyz or whatever cause I know I can feel that in the pipeline.

This is not a complaint, its more of a disgrace. So, unless you have a solution done even try to consolidate me.

Regards,

Karl

You've just joined the club of people apple sold their stuff to for big bucks and then leave them high and dry when their products crap out. I had nothing but trouble with my imac, one thing after another to the point i consider it a lemon but i had to keep taking it in and have it fixed again, right.

No more money for apple they suck

I was using my Mac-Book Pro 17in and it started to flicker/flash and I had grand-mal seizures.I bit my tongue and hit my head. I was laying on the bed when this happened. The paramedics had to come and examine me. I apparently urinated on myself due to the seizures. A new Mac-Book Pro 17 inch was damaged and the corporate reps kept indirectly saying it was my fault and they couldn't do anything and brushed me off. I found out it was a photosensitive seizure due to the flickering screen. They inspected the Mac-Book Pro and returned it within a few days. They wanted me to pay even though I have Apple Care. They also insinuated that I damaged a new Mac-Book Pro on purpose. It's amazing how they have changed. My big regret is I gave one to my sister. I got my dad one and now he is learning about the internet but it makes me made I spent so much money on this company when they give the worst service on the phone and with corporate reps.

I'm a reporter and yes it's easy to find corporate information. If I tell you how exactly to do it, then they'll stop doing things a certain way. Remember it's a corporation....if you have a job that requires email, then figure it out. Don't use google. Try bing or yahoo.

Answer to your Question. Aro gance. Don't bother buying the things. They don't work with anything. The only serious app witten for them in MS Office the rest are mini apps.
I called to ask why the kids Macbook air wouldn't hook to my office network and they told me to change my network setting so there machine could connect, meaning I would have to change the other 30 computers settings as well
Just buy a good quality linux or windows pc serious people do.
