Who Was Isaac Asimov?

The name Isaac Asimov is attributed to one of the most prolific writers in the world. Originally he was a professor of biochemistry and beside that he was writing also. But he got fame when he took up writing as full-time career and he earned great accolades for his work. Sometimes people compare him with Arthur C. Clark and many of the reviewers call him the number one in the genre of science fiction while almost the equal numbers of them give the credit to Mr. Clark. Isaac Asimov himself being quite modest and he used to say that Arthur C. Clark as the number one followed by him.
      
The seer number of books Isaac Asimov has written and edited takes him out of the entire race and established him as the best writer if science fiction. He didn't write only on science fiction but has written a good number of history books also and that shows how versatile he was.
