Why Does My Dog Hide In Small Places That Are Near Me?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Dogs, by nature, are pack animals.  Since they live with you, you become part of their pack (the pack leader actually).  So they want to be near you.  However, dogs are also den animals, so hiding in small places mimics them being in a den, which is a homey and safe place for them to be.
