I'll try to start the song or say what i remember slide to left slide to the right (bang) (bang) and that one kid in the mcdonalds commercial that was advertising apple dippers, what's the name of the song and who sings it?

The Electric Slide, however, is not the title of the actual song, it's really the name of the dance used originally for "The Electric Boogie" by Marcia Griffiths on the album carousel Marcia Griffiths (along with Bunny Wailer) recorded the "Electric Boogie" In 1989, which became an instant pop hit in the U.S. This music inspired a variation of the Freeze ...or as we call it now, The Electric Slide. It is the song we do the dance called the electric slide to. It is a line dance that people do at weddings sometimes. Have to do a little research on who sings it. Have to get back with you on that. There is also a version by Mr. C the Slide Man.
