What Are Some Math Things In A Roller Coaster?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Your question is somewhat vague, so I am just going to wing it here.

1: The use of the speed formula speed = distance/time.  Here you are using different units of measurement.
2: The curve of the roller coaster - geometry
3: Area and volume, different shapes of all the parts of the structure itself - geometry
4: Number of people that can use the roller coaster at any one time

As I don't know if these are the type of answers you are looking for, I will stop here.  There are lots more examples, just think of the five areas of school math.  Numbers and Operation, Algebra, geometry, measurement, Data Analysis and Probability.  There is an example of all of them!
