You would have to dodge swipes with the front claws, and from there you have several options.
Eyes-throat route:
Punch the lion in the nose as hard as possible, then dig your thumbs into its eyes before it has time to recover. Make sure you actually blind it.
While the lion is flailing around, climb onto its back and wrap one arm around its windpipe. Grab your wrist so that you've made a halter around the lion's neck with your arms.
Squeeze as hard as you can and don't let go. The lion will thrash and probably roll over trying to dislodge you. Wrap your legs around its stomach and make sure it doesn't shake you. Squeeze until it goes still, and then keep squeezing until you can be sure it's dead.
Toss-neck-break route:
Catch the cat's claws and hold onto them as you use its momentum and fall backwards. As your butt hits the ground, bring your legs up and plant your feet on the lion's underbelly. Push up and backwards, tossing the lion over your head. Then you'll have to act quickly.
Use the momentum of your roll to get back to your feet, turn around, and kick the lion in the neck as hard as you can before it gets up. Kick it again, then put one hand on one ear and the other under its jaw. Turn its head as far and as fast as you can until you hear a loud cracking noise. The lion should be dead.
Don't try this at home.
