Can General Anesthesia Effect The Brain Of The Elderly?
My husband had hip replacement surgery about a month and a half ago. He seems to have difficulty concentrating. Initially he had a personality change, becoming very loquacious and uninhibited but that has stopped. Will his brain recover from the anesthesia? How long will it take? He also experienced anemia. Can that have aggravated the situation?
