Can You Help? My Mum Has Passed Her Sell By Date!

I bought a new mum last week and it said she would stay fresh until at least the 10th december but today I looked at her and she was grey and had clotted in the fridge. Please let me know where you buy your mums from.

At the mum store of course. And you have to take better care of your mum if you don't want a grey clotty one. My mum is still terribly fresh but then I take very good care of her.

Hey Grandpa, your question is on Google! Quit putting her in the fridge.

Don't worry about the grey, clotted appearance.  Your Mum is actually still fresh and will keep until her December 10 expiration date.  If the appearance bothers you, try removing the clotted, grey portions.  Once you have gotten down to the fresher layer, you can preserve it by sealing your Mum in several layers of cling wrap.  Also, if you really want to extend her shelf life, the freezer is probably a better place to store her than the fridge.

Sorry, I can't help you out with where I got my own Mum, she was provided for me and I was not invited to participate in that particular shopping trip.  Wherever she came from, she shows no sign of reaching her sell by date although she is on the grey, clotted side herself.

My Mum doesn't like the fridge. She doesn't like to get cold......Take her out and give her a warm sweater. She will be happier that way. Ha! Love ya!
