Where Can I Find A Dog-free City In The United States?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

I can't imagine that you could, because people every where love dogs.
Working dogs enable us to do so many things that we would not be able to accomplish without them, like rescues in mudslides, hurricanes and earthquakes.
Search and sniffer dogs, using the superior canine nose, which all dogs posess, help us to fight crime, and find missing persons like the elderly with memory loss.
Blind people and handicapped people would lose their source of help, dogs for the blind, and also therapy dogs are indispensible.
Dogs are used for transportation and sport in Alaska and Greenland, so there too they play their part.
In fact, I can't think of a single place where dogs do not work, play  and live and love side by side with humans.
They truly are man's best friend, and If I had to choose I'd take them above people anyday.
Maybe you could consider an oil rig out at sea, a submarine under the sea, or a ship, but I think you will find that even there, dogowners have snuck them in.
Loyalty, courage, soul, spirit and commitment these are the things we can learn from dogs.

I do not know how to answer this. I agree that there are dogs that serve a purpose such as guide dogs, etc. But, dogs do not love. They are dumb animals that show some affection. The problem has come in people
