    The climate in Virginia is mild. It is milder then other places in the United States. The climate in Virginia is a little humid, especially towards the east of the state. Towards the west of the, the area is mountainous. Virginia is at the height of 5729 feet above sea level. Virginia's latitude is the same of Italy and Spain, so, silkworm and citrus fruit farming is prevalent. Plantation for most crops starts between April and August. Except some of the winter and fall crops like barley and wheat are planted in September. The harvesting of all crops happened between June and December.

    It depends on what you want to plant. But, mid-late May seems to be best for most things. =)
