What Does Comprehensive Mean?

    Comprehensive means all inclusive. For example 'a comprehensive report' or 'comprehensive description' or 'comprehensive census'. It may also mean a broad in scope like for instance, 'a comprehensive analysis of the stock markets'. It may also mean dealing with all the relevant facts or details. It can also denote complete comprehension.

    Extensive or broad insurance coverage is called comprehensive insurance coverage. It is loosely used however and does not find much usage in formal language. A comprehensive layout is in graphic design and advertising is usually shortened. It is the layout of a design that is originally revealed to a client which shows the relative positions of illustrations and text before the final content of those aspects has been decided.

    A comprehensive school is kind of school that provides secondary level education in Wales and England. A whopping ninety percent of British students receive education from Comprehensive Schools.
