Need Recipe For Chocolate Loaf Cake?
This is a depression-era recipe for a wonderful homemade chocolate cake that I was raised on. Unfortunately my sister-in-law lost the recipe after my mother's death in 1977 & I've been looking for it ever since. I have come across one on the Internet that looks similar....but I still keep hoping I'll find the exact one. The one I am looking for uses Hershey's Chocolate Baking Powder(unsweetened). Also the icing is homemade from powdered sugar & chocolate & acts more like a "glaze" that somewhat sinks into the cake to make it more moist.
