    4x+3(x-8)-x=6

    Multiply 3 with (x-8)

    4x + 3x - 24 -x =6

    Add and subtract like terms

    4x + 3x -x =6 +24

    6x = 30

    Dividing both sides by 6 you will get

    6x/6= 30/6

    x= 5 >>> answer

      First solve (4x+3)(x-8)
      (4x2-29x-24)-x-6=0
      4x2-30x-30=0
      2X2-15x-15=0
      using quadratic equation
      x=(-root(345)/4)+ (15/4)
      x=(+root(345)/4)+ (15/4)

        4x+3(x-8)-x=6
        Step1:
        Solve : 4x +3(x-8)-x = ?
        4x +3(x-8)-x = 4x +3x-24 -x
                            = 6x -24
        step 2 :
        4x+3(x-8)-x=6 ------> 6x -24=6
                                          6x = 24 +6
                                          x = (24+6)/6
                                           x = 30/6
                                           x= 5
