Which Is The Hottest Planet?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Venus is the hottest planet, though it is second planet in the solar system.this is because:-

-mercury rotates very slowly on it's axis.another reason is that the heat it receives goes out once it is in the night side as it has no atmosphere for trapping the air.

-venus on the other hand, has volcanoes and also is filled with carbon dioxide which keeps the heat that it receives.venus can reach a temperature of 480 degree celsius.

Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system.

Venus is the second planet from the sun, Mercury is first but because of its closeness to the sun it lacks an atmosphere lack of which helps heat dissipate.

Venus has an atmosphere primarily composed of Carbon Dioxide ( a potent greenhouse gas ) which holds heat in creating an oven effect. Venus can reach temperatures of 467 C.
