Should Chappel Be Ruled Out As Coach? Or Should He Continue?

The first thing I would like to say is that Chappell's approach was not wrong. That is, after all, how the Australians became champions - experimenting with the available talent and developing a process whereby the raw talent was transformed into hungry players with the desire to excel. The problem lies in the fact that India is not the team that could stand up to such procedures. Chappell would make a great South African or even Kiwi coach, because these are the teams that have players with the mindset required to develop winners.
The Indian is not generally a mentally toughened character, unless the back is to the wall and there is no way but to be tough. However, in the case of the Indian cricket team, even that does not work. That is simply because they have been spoiled so silly with the adulation of the nation and the money from the corporate endorsements that they cannot be tough evn if they wanted to. The champion batsman, Sachin, has slowed down. While whether he is past his prime or not is subject to debate, there is no questioning the fact that his reflexes are not what they used to be. One look at the way he went yesterday and you will know.
Therefore, while the fault is not Greg Chappell's and logically he should not get the sack, what is the point of keeping him here when this current bunch cannot deliver anyways? It is a logical decision for him to go.

According to the Indian team, Chappel is the right person as a coach. He made many experiments to prove the Indians are best. In so many matches it had been proved. He had given preference to those who can play well. Due to this reason, although Ganguly went out from the Indian team, he came back. As per my views, If he continues as a coach, youngsters may get chances and the Indian team will be one of the best teams under his guidance.

Coaches are not responsible for defeats and wins of a team , the only responsible people are players who are on the field on a particular day. Why do all the people blame coaches instead of players? Pakistan lost to Ireland and everyone blamed Bob Woolmer, India lost against Bangladesh and everyone blamed Chappell. Would you like to imagine that the players like Tendulkar and Inzamam need coaching? At international level the players are already matured nobody coaches them. I think poor performers of the teams should be ruled out from the side rather than coaches like Chappell.
