    Africa. He started a rebellion against slavery but could not succeed.

      Nat Turner was a black slave and also said to be a minister,he had no church and was said to have held his sermon in the woods,he was against slavery and was said to of have "during his sermons" recruited other slaves to join him in his quest to end slavery, Nat Turner started with his own owner and family he killed them,the entire family and went from plantation to plantation recruiting as he went, killing slave owners in his area until he and others were stop,Nat Turner was jailed and his trial lead to his being skined and burned alive.
