She isn't doing very well in math. I want to help her study and be her study buddy or something like that. Any tips and suggestions? (Such as websites or popular books that can be borrowed from the library.)

Try to help your friend with there home work, find time when both of you guys can study together. Or find like some kind of after school program that helps with math.

You didn't say what type of math your friend is having difficulty with, but if you can help her as a study buddy, why not? Just make sure you help her understand, but don't do the work for her. Show her how you do it and what you're doing step by step. Explain as you go along.
