A very early graphical browser was Webview or Webviewer and was used by an emerging web community in 1989/1990 with some terminals attached to a mainframe computer. The earliest known public use of a site with graphical content which could be accessed by remote dial-in connection was in 1987 using frames created in England conforming to a specification for Kandohar. A similar website containing different content can be seen today at plitar.org.uk/index.php [a php licence is not required to access it]
