What Should I Do For My 18th Birthday Party?

One idea could be to have a "Heaven and Hell" theme, but instead of people that choose the "hell" side of the theme dressing up in red (as people normally do), they have to dress up in black.

Food wise, for the heaven side, you could have all types of fruit, strawberries, bananas, cherries, grapes, etc, you know, foods of the gods. For the hell side you could have chilli, curries, spicy dishes, etc.

For drinks, it would be white wine, champagne and light lager for heaven. Dark spirits, stouts and dark ales or beers for hell.

For both the food and the drink, it could look really cool if you set it all out with definite divisions between the 2 so that you have, for example, white table cloths with white balloons around the back, etc with all the "heavenly" food, and then black table cloths and black balloons and decorations with the "hellish" food.

You could even use the same idea for the room itself that you have the party in, e.g. - cut the lighting to one side of the room (or hall) and decorate each side accordingly, again staying with the black and white themes.

Yeah! I reckon that could be really cool if you spent a bit of time on it.

I suppose you don't want any of the usual kiddie stuff. There are a number of ways you can celebrate your birthday. You can set up a theme like a ball where everyone would have to bring along a partner and dress up in formal attire.
