    Bangladesh has a population of 147,365,000 and the area of Bangladesh is roughly around 144,000 km². According to the statistics Bangladesh has more living population than it can accommodate within its boundaries. It is currently ranked seventh in the world for its population. It is one of the most densely populated countries in the world.  

    The capital of Bangladesh is Dhaka and it is also the country's largest city. The official language of Bangladesh is Bengali or Bangla. Bangladesh attained its independence from Pakistan on the 26th of March, 1971. In the year 1972 the Constitution of Bangladesh was written, this Constitution had undergone 13 amendments.


    The total GDP of Bangladesh is roughly around $304.6 billion. The currency used in Bangladesh is called 'Taka'.
