Seeing as the red eyed tree frog is an aboreal frog and only slightly larger than a mouse at the largest. I think that 15 ounces is way too much. They would fall off of the leaves that they love to hide on. I think Aicha is actually meaning to say 1.5 ounces. Which may even be a little much. Tree frogs are very delicate and very light. If you are thinking about getting one for a pet, it should be noted that they are not for a novice herptology/amphibian hobbyist. They take quite a bit of care and maintenance and are not meant to be handled (as with most frogs), they are primarily a show piece animal.
