    It could be stress/anxiety or maybe obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).  Try keeping a journal of your thoughts, maybe if you get them out of your head your mind will stop thinking about them.  Also try some relaxation techniques - deep breathing, get a massage, listen to relaxing music, whatever works for you - to help relieve stress that you may be unaware that you're carrying around.
