There are a couple of answers to this question. One, if you were hurt on the job, usually it is just a matter of healing then going back to work. If you were injured to the point you cannot return to work you'll need to get an attorney and go to court for benefits. One thing your attorney should do is ask for lifetime insurance on the problem you have or if that problem could lead to other things. If you go that route be ready to wait for a long while. Mine took 4 yr's.
