Is My Dog Pregnant Or Is Lactating Part Of Heat?

My dog mated in the first part of May for about 3 weeks. She is a black Lab. Her ribs enlarged and she is now lactating. But we couldn't afford the xray at the vet. Does this mean that she is pregnant for sure, or can she do this after heat? Sorry another question. The last time she mated was on May 16th or 17th. So does that still mean it's possible it can be a real pregnancy or not?

If your dog  mated in first part of May and now 26 Jul, no pups? The gestational periods in dogs is 60-67 days with average 63 days. I think it is false pregnancy and many dogs lactate due to false pregnancy. Milk production in dogs starts shortly before delivery.

If the last time she mated was on May 16th or 17th is it possible it's still a real pregnancy? They had a few really good locks together. Towards the end of her heat. Any ideas?
