    Artificial selection is basically the intentional breeding for certain traits in an animal. Whereas Natural selection the reproduction of organism is attributed to improved survival or reproductive ability in the natural habitat. In both these concepts negative selection is common. In this the selection whether natural or artificial produces an undesirable outcome from a human's perspective.
