It depends on the state you live in. They usually have to give you a 3 day notice to pay or leave. If you don't pay, they have to file with the courts and the sheriff will deliver a notice for you to go to court. You should ask this question in google also. You can pull up websites that will give you the answer for your state. Put in tenant rights in the search bar. Good luck. Don't worry, you probably have at least 1 month.

Your landlord has given you a notice of 14 days. According to tenancy laws, you have to pay the remaining amount of your rent before that date or on a date that is agreed between your landlord and yourself. If you have a security deposit with your landlord, she can deduct the remaining amount from that deposit. However, if you have no such arrangement you can talk to her about it.
