Where Is Davy Jones' Locker?

In some ways Davy Jones' Locker does not actually exist... but in other ways it does !
It's location is at the bottom of the sea. However, it is a derivative from the superstitions which used to be popular with sailors, so in a sense it does not exist !
Sailors used to be unable to say the word 'drown' because they feared that to use this word may actually cause a drowning. So they would say 'Oh he went to Davy Jones' Locker' instead.
The spirit of the sea is known as Davy Jones, so if the sea is turbulent and stormy, then it could be said that Davy Jones was of ill humour on that day. His locker is a place that no one can escape from, nor can they be found and the reality is that for many drowned at sea, their bodies are never found. So they are 'in the Locker', but no one knows its exact location.....
