You need a 7m m hex bolt to remove the pins which have little black rubber on them. If your going to change the pads just do the rotors also, you need an 11/13 socket(I think) to remove those 2 pins and just hir the rotor from behind with a rubber hammer. You might have too give it a good shot. Just becarful not to let the caliper hang or else you will have to bleed the brakes. I am a DIY er and just changed my brakes for hte 1st time last week, took me about 1 1/2 to do front brakes using the cross to remove the tires.
