The easy way out is to ghost the hard drive to the other using a ghosting program (Freely Available on the net.). This will only work if your system operating is: Windows 95(OSR2) Windows 98 and upwards to Windows 2000. I hope this helps.

Oracle's Export / Import functions should achieve this - especially for different operating systems.

In sql server have enterprise manager utility by that first
take backup of that database and in another pc used that backup file to restore it.
