Why Does The Climate Of Chile Vary?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Chile has a very fascinating location on the world map, if you take a look at it. It is a thin stretching piece of land which is hiding in between the Andes Mountain and the Pacific Ocean.

The location of Chile provides it with a variety of climates such as from hot humid tropical climates to cold rainy weather conditions. It is surrounded around by so many landscapes that have an avid affect on its climate. In the north of Chile, is the Sahara desert, which is known for being an extremely rainy location on the planet.

In the center of Chile, is California along with many beaches and inlets which provide the area with an extremely tropical and humid climate. This climate is suitable for many tourists and makes the beaches an attractive place to visit for them. Other water sport activities are also convenient due to the favoring climate conditions.

In the mid south of Chile is an Alpine District and Norway is situated in the deep south region of Chile, thus making it a cold region where snow occurs most of the time.
