First look at the distribution channels for a moment:

Selling direct via mail order, Internet and telephone

Agent, who typically sells direct on behalf of the manufacturer

Distributor who sells to retailers

Retailer who sells to end customers

 
The computers in my opinion are best sold out through the distributors. Because in the PC industry they could reach to a lot of retailers which could then reach to a large number of consumers.
