I haven't met a puppy that didn't want to bite - that's how they play with each other and that is what they are trying to do with you is to play. Check with your local pet store and find out where you can take him to an obedience class when he's old enough. That will help make sure his play doesn't become too aggressive. Also, plan on having him neutered before he gets too much older, that will prevent a lot of bad behaviors.

When a dog does this it is showing it is dominate over you. However, the can be reversed. It does not mean you shouldn't buy it. When it does it say no, bad dog in a loud voice. You may have to do this a billion time. Other things that will help to correct this is when you let them out to potty make the dog sit before going out and coming in this shoes that you are the dominate one. I know that you have asked if this would be an okay dog to buy so yes if you want to take the pessary step to train it.

I have a 12 week old Shar-pei, and she bites and growls at us still..I think it's just the puppy in them..she should outgrow it in a couple of months.
