    I would agree it would be einstein but werner von braun was also one of our greatest scientists, he placed the human race in the position of reaching space

      I agree with Wordy's choice of Charles Darwin, who was indeed revolutionary for his time.

      But it probably isn't fair to elevate one scientist above all others. I nominate Werner Heisenberg for his contributions to the field of Quantum Physics and for Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle, which are completely changing our understanding of ourselves and our universe, in our time.

      I would say Definitively it's Faraday, then Newton, and then Tesla and Einstein! And Maxwell is very close!
      If not for his exposure to Mercury in the 1830's he would have do even more, and was Maxwell's hero! And the greatest ever in some area's!
      Every time I investigate any area his name is THERE!
