Christmas Money Bank-I Have $5.14 In My Bank, I Want To Avoid Spending It, How Do I Keep Myself Busy Until The Next Holiday Season?

My dad gives me and my brother $200.00 every holiday season to buy what we wanna be ourselves for Christmas and I know I will get the money this holiday season and I want to add whatever I have in my bank to the money he will give me, so far I am doing a good job of saving the $5.14 cents I have in my bank, I know that I will have more money when I combine that $200.00 with all that I have saved this year to the $200.00.

Collect cans, metal scrap, look for clean up work in the area. Get addicted to adding to that. If you can look for free stuff among your friends and sell it on ebay. I once put like 20 things on ebay and spent the rest of the year answering questions about them, figuring out shipping cost and then tracking the payments.

As a kid, I kept three separate banks: One for pennies, one for silver coins, and one for dollar bills. All three of my banks were the kind you had to crack to open, or force coins out with a knife. You'd be surprised how fast the silver change adds up! The dollars do, too....pennies, not so fast.

Every now and then, my mom would clean out here purse and give me her loose change, or I would do small chores around the house for spare change. I would then save the money.

      Good Luck!
