The Jedi Academy Trilogy is the name of a series of the three books by Kevin J. Anderson. They are set in the Star Wars galaxy. These three books are a part of the Star Wars Expanded Universe series. The events that are mentioned in these books take place a period of about seven years after the events that are mentioned in Return of the Jedi, in the galactic year 11 ABY.
The main event of the series is the attempt by Luke Skywalker to rebuild the Jedi Order. His efforts to do so begin after the Emperor is defeated. The list of titles in the Jedi Academy trilogy are Jedi Search, Dark Apprentice and Champions of the Force. These three novels were the top selling science fiction novels of the year in the year 1994.
