How Can I Make Some Graphic Paintings To Hang On The Wall?

There is a simple way to create some graphic artwork to decorate your home. Even if you are not a born artist, no one will know!

Start with a canvas, which can be purchased from an art and craft supply store. Use a T-square and a pencil to lightly draw some rectangular shapes onto the canvas. Next, add colour. You can use either acrylic paints from an art and craft supply store or house paint. The latter works well if you have some extra from painting your walls; plus it will coordinate with your decorating scheme.

Paint each shape by using either a small roller or a brush. To get a clean line, stick masking tape around the edges of each shape before painting. When the paint has dried, pull off the masking tape. Wait for each section to dry before you begin painting the next shape. If you make a mistake, it is easily corrected; wait until the paint is dry and paint over.

The colours and design are up to you. Coordinating the colours with your existing decor works well.  Hang your paintings alone or in a group to inject a flavour of modern, graphic design into the room.
