This Question Is Answered:
Tortoise Shell Damage, What's The Best Way To Help Recovery?
I have a Sulcata Tortoise and he has rubbed a couple spots on his shell (the side). Is there anything i can use o promote healing or just add some extra calcium to his diet? Any hints? He is about 10 years old and 40lbs.

There are many glue that are available in the market that can help you to recover this damaged cell but this will never retain its original position but still it is workable.

From what i have read the shell will heal itself depending on the damage. Believe it or not they use fiberglass patches for bigger repairs. Here is a page for repairs to turtle shell. Www.anapsid.org/shellrepair.html
