How Do You Make An Origami Flower?

Origami is a popular art of paper folding. In origami, the aim is to achieve a given result by means of geometric folds and crease patterns.
A simple way in which you can create a flower is as follows: First, begin with a Birdbase, swing one flap over and repeat on the other side. Valley fold this flap up and repeat on the other side. Third, open the flap right in the middle. You have to Valley fold the middle lines right down to the bottom line. You need to separately pre-crease each fold and then bring the top point down so you can flatten the model.

You don't have to actually make the horizontal fold as this will form once you flatten the model. Repeat the third step on the other three flaps. Turn your model upside down, open it carefully one layer (flap) at a time. You have to open out three flaps and press the bottom point flat in order to fashion a square after you open the forth flap. Take care not to spoil the shape of the leafs.
