Go to your local hardware store and purchase "goof off"
takes off almost everything,,, Make sure to use in a well ventilated area.. I removed paint from a leather jacket without doing harm to the jacket. But then it needs to be aired out!! Very Strong smell.
Or maybe goo gone, not as harsh, removes some petroleum products, like crayon, gel candles, etc.
