Answer Question

Yes you can flour pork chops and bake in the oven - you can dredge them in fresh bread crumbs, panko bread crumbs, seasoned or unseasoned dry bread crumbs, crushed corn flakes or other cereal, you can add grated Parmesan or Pecorino Romano to the mixture, you can use cracker crumbs - anything goes - I've taught cooking and baking for decades

    Here's a "sample" recipe

    4 pork chops, trimmed
    2 tablespoons butter, melted
    1 egg, beaten
    2 tablespoons milk
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup herb-seasoned dry bread stuffing mix

    Directions
    1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Pour butter into a 9x13 inch baking pan.

    2. Stir together egg, milk and pepper. Dip pork chops in egg mixture, coat with stuffing mix and place in pan.

    3. Bake in preheated oven until done - juices run clear.

No... My mom use to bake them with a little sage and thyme on top, or plain with butter... I like the thick ones sliced almost in half and stuffed with stuffing
